Justin Morrill Homestead

These photos from July 2008 are from this Vermont historic site (Vermont's first historic National Landmark)-- the former home and gardens of Justin Smith Morrill, most noted as a U.S. Senator the latter half of the 1800's who is responsible for our current system of state land grant colleges.  In addition he was a knowledgeable on architecture and horticulture, with trials of many new plants at his Stafford, VT home.
